Dear docteam,
One thought for the future would be to have some kind of time limit on
membership of the team. For example, a 2 year time limit with the
ability for members to renew their own membership each year if they
want to. That would ensure that people no longer wishing to contribute
would gradually drop off the list naturally without the need for us to
prune the list from time to time.
This is similar to the approach adopted in the ~ubuntumembers team (2
years) and the ~ubuntu-doc-contributors team (6 months).
Obviously if someone misses the renewal emails and fails to renew but
wants to do so, we can just add them back to the team.
If we adopt this solution, we should also do it for
~ubuntu-doc-wiki-admins, I think.
What do people think?
