@Ralf: That is not at all my interpretation when I read the link you gave [1].
In my opinion, they are only saying don't ask on this list unless you build and run
our (call it the "master") version, so as to avoid escalation of what turn out to be
distro specific issues, which they can not deal with anyhow. As far as my experience
goes, such requests are the norm.
