[Ubuntu-eg] Android Emulator on Ubuntu ?

its one of the big problems for the android emulator , and i don't know how
fast it runs on windows but i tried it in ubuntu and it is also  kind of
slow .
may be if u increased the Ram . it could perform a little better . and
eclipse performes better in ubuntu than windows
