Well as I said above, the local LUG will certainly seed membership, and
it sounds like you have some heavy hitters coming. Most likely you will
have media coverage as well.
What kind of venue are you holding this in?
I am attempting to organize a release party in Los Angeles, and as its a
large city with many existing and potential ubuntu users, I would like
to get as much information as possible on how to hold a large scale
release party. Sounds like you have a lot of good information and track
record for this!
