[ubuntu-in] 407 proxy authentication failure in Ubuntu software centre and IM even after applying systemwide proxy

Hi Ravi,



In terminal export the http_proxy variable and then try apt-get install 

netbeans



# export http_proxy=:@

software center to install same application but here also same message

 One thing i observe that i can surf the net using firefox and i can 

install plugins for songs like mp3, mp4, flv etc.
