[ubuntu-in] Tata Photon Plus (Huawei EC1261) dongle not recognise in ubuntu 11.04

I have just purchase tata indicom ec156 device. but,WirelessConnection
Manager did not recognizes the Tata Photon Plus Huawei EC156 dongle in
ubuntu 11.04, I am using Network Manager Applet, usb-modeswitch is already
installed. Please suggest further. also I have tried gnome-ppp through
terminal also via command gnome-ppp. it failed to recognise the device.
