Sorry - replied to your previous message without seeing this one - do
you get nothing in your network manager applet? Can you make sure to
plugin the device and then wait for upto a minute or so for it to show
up in network manager? It sometimes takes some time.

If that definitely does not work, please post the output of:

1. sudo dmesg |tail
2. lsusb
(run on the terminal)
