OK. I have also jused rdesktop directly, since it's simpler and does
what I want (I don't need all the chrome that remmina provides)

Title:
add feature: open gnome-rdp session via command line

Status in “gnome-rdp” package in Ubuntu:
  Opinion

Bug description:
gnome-rdp should have a way to open a named connection via the command line (like remmina -c file.remmina does, etc.).
This will allow adding shortcuts to command scripts, the Ubuntu start menu, keyboard hot keys, etc.

I.e. if I have a rdp connection named "MyLaptop" then I should be able
  to run

  gnome-rdp --connect MyLaptop

  or something similar.
