I can reach the address http://trainsimframework.org/common/packages.dat
but it doesn't belongs anymore to OpenBVE. Instead it opens a webpage
full of ads. Is there another server running, and how can I change the
address in OpenBVE settings?

Status in “openbve” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  After upgrading to the precise version, when viewing the "Get Add-ons"
  screen in the main menu, it says "Could not connect to server".
  However tcpdump doesn't show any attempt to make any outgoing
  connections that I can see.
