Hi Dan and ubuntu-nz,
I hope you get this off the ground. I suggest you repeat the request
to the wellylug group (Wellington Linux Users). They are a rather
technical group generally but they are also users and many have
Ubuntu. Try wellylug at lists.wellylug.org.nz and go to their internet
site. wellylug.org.nz (from memory). They meet regularly.

I have been trying to help older people with limited resources into
Ubuntu for years but it is still an uphill struggle. People need shops
and support and advice and I find that unless they are enthusiasts
sooner or later they give up and buy a standard computer from a shop.

If you want to contact me personally to share ideas I'm jeffhunt90 at gmail.com

Regards.
