[Ubuntu-PH] marvell yukon 88E8056 driver for ubuntu dapper

hi everyone,

I'm currently work on a dapper box, yes dapper I know it an old distro but
this is where we have right now, dapper on lenovo every thing where find
till the time that the supplier gave us different mother board but same
lenovo type, I encounter an set back on it built Marvell Yukon 88E8056, I'm
tyring to follow the discussion on http://kerneltrap.org/node/7135 but I
can't really understand what they trying to do with kernel I'm stock with
http://kerneltrap.org/node/7135 I even know the id for my device

so what I'm gonna do next I'm really kind of newbie with the kernel thing,
can any one share there expertise on this matter.

so other forum indicate that marvell yukon are not good hardware for ubuntu
of Linux base system some said that they detect the nic but it keep on
halting the system need to restart, I don't wanna have that kind of system
that will stalling when you have access the network.
