[Ubuntu-PH] marvell yukon 88E8056 driver for ubuntu dapper

/so other forum indicate that marvell yukon are not good hardware for
ubuntu of Linux base system some said that they detect the nic but it
keep on halting the system need to restart, I don't wanna have that
kind of system that will stalling when you have access the network.  /

Do you have a network problem similar or something like tulip-based
ethernet adapter?
If your NIC is Davicom you can try this workaround before upgrading or
installing a new version of your distro:

You can also try the live-CD of Ubuntu hardy and see if everything
will work out of the box.
