James,

I believe you are referring to Ubuntu Tweak correct? My over all issue is
not that a multi-tool has not been included by default or that Ubuntu Tweak
has not been included by default but that Ubuntu in general has not
addressed this issue. What I needed was the Compiz Config Utility. If
Ubuntu is going to incorporate Compiz or Compiz elements, shouldn't they
include the basic tool used for that application or services? Also the fact
that when installed, the system did not place that configuration tool in the
system settings list of resources.

Overall I am less concerned with Ubuntu not putting a specify tool in the
install and more concerned with the continued lack of including "any" tool
that might change something as basic as launcher icon size.

I realize too that this mail list was not originally created as a complaint
list towards Ubuntu. I was mostly adding my own personal commentary after
following the instructions and using the tool. I realize complaining in
here might get some "Amens" but probably will never be the cause of any real
change inside Canonical. So as far as trying to work with developers to get
their tools included in the software center, etc. I understand and agree
that is probably a better use of those on the mail list that have the skills
to offer up.
