# Noteworthy Bugs

Found 19 bugs

Most of them are already worked on, but there's a few interesting ones:

#2114224: freeradius is uninstalled on dist-upgrade to 24.04
release notes updated to include this removal
fix possibly underway in https://code.launchpad.net/~juliank/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+git/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+merge/487153

#2112578: qemu riscv64 not releasing cpus
reproduction attempts still ongoing, regression appears to be between 6.11.0-8-generic..6.14.0-22-generic

#2097769: ubuntu-desktop-minimal installation breaking systemd-networkd dns
another affected user. we have a reproducer, but a fix is not yet in the making.

#2079015: double systemd service unit for smartmontools
needs reevaluation about a proper fix

#2107309: smartmontools service environment var uninitialized
smartmontools released v7.5 and migrated to git, so for the next merge we'll have the fix.
sru for just this bug still questionable.
