# Bugs

Worth noting:

LP: #2111965
Connection Problems after net-tools upgrade 1.60+git20181103.0eebece-1ubuntu5.1
I saw that there was a regression in the 1ubuntu5.1 security update,
fixed in 1ubuntu5.4. I asked the user to try 1ubuntu5.4 and report
back.

## Server Guide
New PR:

Added definitions for 5 words starting with A
I belive Sally looks at these types of PRs (glossary additions). I
skimmed over it and left some ccomments/suggestions.

New issue:
https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-server-documentation/issues/275

[Feedback]: I don't want to go figure out what DRIVER_BRANCH is
supposed to be defined to, so the apt --purge as given is not useful.
Correctly filed. I left a comment, tagged appropriately.

# Excuses/migration
https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/proposed-migration/update_excuses_by_team.html#ubuntu-server

## rdma-core
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rdma-core/56.1-1ubuntu1
Stuck because of a riscv64 build issue. This was filed as
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2111581 and is blocking an rdma-core
SRU as well.

## qemu, libvirt
tests are good, but qemu depends on ceph to migrate, which in turn
depends on fuse3, which is a mess and also blocks libvirt. Bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/2111845 is
tracking it.

## apache2
I retriggered apache's tests, they are known to be flaky.

## php 8.4
Lots of red test results. One update-excuses bug is
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php8.4/+bug/2073801 and is
on Athos' radar. There are so many failures, I don't think this is
just a matter of retries.

## open-vm-tools
https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/proposed-migration/update_excuses.html#open-vm-tools
open-vm-tools/amd64 has unsatisfiable dependency
open-vm-tools/arm64 has unsatisfiable dependency
I tried on a questing/amd64 container, and indeed
open-vm-tools-containerinfo from questing-proposed is not installable:

$ sudo apt install open-vm-tools-containerinfo  -t questing-proposed
Solving dependencies... Error!
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Unsatisfied dependencies:
 open-vm-tools-containerinfo : Depends: open-vm-tools (=
2:12.5.0-2build2) but 2:12.5.0-1 is to be installed
Error: Unable to satisfy dependencies. Reached two conflicting decisions:
   1. open-vm-tools:amd64=2:12.5.0-2build2 is selected as an upgrade because:
      1. open-vm-tools-containerinfo:amd64=2:12.5.0-2build2 is
selected as an upgrade
      2. open-vm-tools-containerinfo:amd64=2:12.5.0-2build2 Depends
open-vm-tools (= 2:12.5.0-2build2)
   2. open-vm-tools:amd64=2:12.5.0-2build2 Depends libxmlsec1-1 (>= 1.2.31)
but none of the choices are installable:
      [no choices]

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xmlsec1/1.3.7-1 has a
libxmlsec1-1 binary, and the source was just published in questing 1h
ago, so maybe in the next run this will migrate.
