I've been reading the mailing list for the past few days and I think
the Chicago Loco is the most talented and potentially best Ubuntu/LUG
out there. But then, again, we ARE in the Super Bowl (Go Bears) for a
reason.
I was in my usual internet groove the other day and an idea for a
commercial popped into my mind, which involves Nixternal in several
compromising positions ;-). It was actually more of less the approach
of a regular computer user looking for a good computer system, which
doesn't sound like much, but that's only because it's a rough sketch.
I've been in contact with some art people for years, doing various
side projects (music venues, movies, art shows blah) which I can try
and tap into, I think someone mentioned graphics work?
Has anyone seen Matt (RedDead)? I haven't heard from him in a month or
two, I was wondering if anyone knew why he was MIA?
I was also talking to Chadrius about possibly meeting up for lunch
sometime in downtown Chicago, if anyone is interested, or maybe a
bunch of us can get together Just for Fun? Just for Fun is a
book/profile on and about Linus Torvalds which I picked up for 14
books and was worth the $. I suggest it to everyone, or I'll share my
copy.
I think that's all I have, but I've been awake less then 25 minutes,
so if anything else comes into mind, I will throw it up in IRC.
