Rather than defining an OS take a lesson from Apple.

Show three PC's (1 Apple, 1 Windows, and 1) Linux
then
Start with taking a bit out of an Apple i.e. as it
relates to your pocket book new hardware one vendor
and so on.

Then look ta the windows machine. Window falls from
table.....CRASH.....WE ALL know about WINDOWS

then LInux.......
