That depends on the way Knoppix accesses the sata drives. I would try the sda nomenclature first.

I tried using Knoppix STD, but i'm not able to locate the hard drive. I suppose I could try another live distro....
While in STD, should I be labeling my HD as it was on my regular version for mounting purposes?
i.e. it is SATA, so should I just be doing /sda1 etc?

Hi guys!
I just tried updating to 7.04 using the following:
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
And, apparently, a few packages were broken. So I attempted to repair them via synaptic, no dice.
When I tried to repair them, I lost graphical. I have a feeling that X was wasted.
I need some help recovering the data on there, if at all possible.
Thanks!
TJ
