My Gazelle Value has the same problem. Load Cycle of 112,636 at 262
days since purchase averaging out to about 430 cycles per day.
I determined the load cycle by installing smartmontools:
sudo aptitude install smartmontools
and running:
sudo smartctl /dev/hda
which output some data one of the data points Load_Cycle_Count which
contained the relevant data.
