[CoLoCo] Screenlets not Working?

I'm still learning the ropes of this distro (7.10) so I don't know but I 
installed the same update and Pidgin is working just fine for me.  Used 
it last night actually.  I could Google it to find out, but one of the 
gurus here would be able to answer the question better.  I am curious as 
to what screenlets and CUPS is.
