[CoLoCo] IBM Lotus Symphony

Umm... I don't think that is quite correct...

I believe Lotus Symphony was around before Open Office. My dad said he used
to use it a long time ago at Hewlett Packard. From what I've read/heard it
used to be the dominant/popular Office suite before Microsoft Office gained
traction, and used to be in direct competition with MS Office.

So, i think in all fairness it was/is it's own project. I just downloaded it
to see what it's like. It's certainly different. It seemed slow when
starting up, but once up it actually seemed kinda speedy. I'll tell you if i
discover anything new about it. It does say it was built on eclipse. It
actually doesn't look half bad, and is probably quite usable.

It is another free alternative to MS Office, and that deserves at least some
mention.
