[CoLoCo] GNOME without Evolution?!

Update:

ugg. well, Linux mint is certainly interesting, but it's not very stable. I
did an update and it totally screwed the system up. oh, well. Back to the
normal stable Ubuntu from Canonical for me.

I do wish that it was possible to not have Evolution so tightly tied to the
system though. But, i guess it's only a minor annoyance. Does anyone know
how to at least disable the default behavior when clicking on a "mailto:
email at email.com" link. It always wants to open Evolution, which as i have
stated i don't use.
