No problem. My roommate bought the card for our server, he's going to write
an Amazon review for it recommending it for Ubuntu if you're using the same
drive enclosure that we are. We had to lobotomize an Acer Aspire X1935,
yank the guts out of its itsy bitsy case, and put into a bigger, flimsy $19
MicroCenter bought case to make the card fit. It was just the right size to
fit our rack, and its a cheapy. The barely attached, spring loaded optical
drive bay door was severely harmed during construction, and given a proper
waste basket burial with full honors.
Either way, the Mediasonic 8x Probox is behaving now, which is a good
thing. Now, if only we can get MediaWiki working without blowing up MySQL.
