Hi every one,

I arrived in NYC yesterday.

1 week ago I updated from ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04,
it failed, and left my eeepc relatively useless.

I have been on the road since,
and have not had any where i could download an iso of an operating
system.

what I want to know is if there is anyone around manhatten or brooklyn
that I could meet and get an iso put on a USB stick.

also, if any one is generous to answer up my questions about
reinstalling, and which files I will lose,
that would be great too.
