Well, I'm still alive, there just hasn't been much for me to reply to.

I'm using a Compaq notebook I picked up a year or so ago.  The only downside
is it has a Broadcom wireless card.  Ndiswrapper takes care of that though.
I think the fan may be going dead, so I'm somewhat shopping for a new
computer.  I was thinking about picking up an iMac in the next month or so
once Leopard is released, but I'm really considering getting one of the
open-source notebook Dell offers.

By the way, I will only say yuck to KDE.  ;)
