samba package problem

None of the developers are able to reproduce this bug, and from the symptoms
it is clear that something is modifying the symlinks (the samba package
itself doesn't).

Please read the bug report and add any new information you may have, and see
if you can answer the questions there, so that this problem can be isolated.
