Firefox flash not working right?

Hi Seth et al.,
I am having the same issue. I don't get any sound and I can't really see
the flash stuff. I can right-click on the flash object and choose the
settings dialogue, and the flash stuff behind the dialogue then appears.
~ But there are no labels on the button in the flash dialogue, so I don't
know how to dismiss it. I gave up. Shame really, as I want to check out
the Invader Zim sound board:

I am of the opinion that flash support in Linux is poor. I try to avoid
it where possible. It used to work better in my Mandrake 10
installation, but the sound would always cut out after a few seconds.
