Can't run VMWare 4.5.2 in Hoary

I have updated from Warty to Hoary. Downloaded VMWare 4.5.2 and 
installed it.

But vmware-config.pl can't compile the vmmon modules. I downloaded 
build-essential, kernel-headers-2.6.8-1-386 and -686 by Synaptic from 
repos (hoary and hoary-universe...) but at the compilation it says that 
kernel is currently 2.6.8-3-386 and even if the module will be built, it 
won't load into the current kernel.

What can I do to have VMWare running?

P.S: I have read about patch to /etc/init.d/vmware to have udev working.
