Can't run VMWare 4.5.2 in Hoary

I downloaded the vmware-any-any patch .84 release

1) installed vmware newly
2) installed the patch by running sudo ./runme.pl from the patch's folder
3) sudo rm /etc/vmware/not_configured

4) RUN vmware successfully.
