PHP Mail

Hiya,

I've got an Apache/php4/Mysql server running on my Ubuntu box as a test 
setup. One of the apps running on it uses php mail to send messages. I 
don't really want to setup postfix on the Ubuntu box, is it possible to 
get php to sent the mail to a smtp server on another machine? It looks 
like that works for W32 but I can see how to do it under Linux - php 
Unix seems to be looking for sendmail on the local machine.

Failing that can someone point me to a how to to setup postfix to just 
send from the Ubuntu box to the smtp server.
