checkinstall: should I now create a repository, or just install remotely with dpkg?

I just created a .deb package file using checkinstall.  I want to
install this package on a bunch of identical machines.  Should I
create a repository, or just download and install with dpkg?  If I
should create a repository, is there a simple way to do this by
putting the files up on a website, for example?
