xearth doesn't do anything

wow xearth...flashback to university and running xearth on my unix
workstation 10 years ago...  I wonder why it is in multiverse.

same here.  I think your guess is right.

/usr/X11R6/bin/xearth -noroot

will make it appear in a window.  Not the final solution, but at least
it shows us that it is working.
