Well there is version 2.0.42 in the repositories. It installs and starts
fine...
Dunno about Breezy, but at least it's there in Dapper. 
You could try installing the Dapper package in breezy, might work. Can't
hurt to try anyway, worse case, it just wont install.
If not, well Dapper will be released in two months, although it's very
usable as is today, certainly stable at any rate. Some things don't
work, but they are new features, so you probably wouldn't notice
anyway...
You can always dual boot Breezy/Dapper anyway, to be safe.

But have you even tried installing from source (compiling) ??
