That was it. I am a little puzzled by the fact that this pkg was included in
Breezy and had to be specially installed for Dapper. Please pardon my
ignorance on this issue --and a couple others, as well-- regarding not only
the differences between Gentoo & Kubuntu, but also the differences between
Breezy & Dapper. New distro, new system architecture. :-\
