ATI Radeon : what works on Ubuntu ?

i would go for a 9250, it has at least *some* 3-D performance :)
on the driver side: i use fglrx (ati binary) with a 9500 and havent had
problems so far or to say not more than with other cards. the ati cards
also have a nice 2d picture.
