ATI Radeon : what works on Ubuntu ?

fwiw, I have a 9200SE myself with an nForce2 motherboard chipset, and
I use the radeon driver
It's a nice enough card, but I never managed to get 3D working cleanly
on any distro. But I'm not into games and such so I didn't try too
hard and eventually gave it up.
What I do like about this card is that it has VGA and DVI outputs so I
can run two big monitors at 1792x1344 each with Xinerama. A last note
on the DVI output - it's standard VGA analog wired to the DVI pins
only, none of the fancy DVI digital features are implemented
