Sound very jerky with kernel 2.6.15-26-686

Hello.

Today I updated the kernel and restricted modules to 2.6.15-26-686.
Since then, the sound is very "jerky".

Any ideas about why this happened and how to fix this problem (other
than downgrading to 2.6.15-25)?
