xv for Ubuntu

Thanks for your information. I have tried 'feh' and it really looked
like 'xv'. I think I will use this.

But, I have a question on using 'display'.

If I try to run 'display', it makes an error message like the below.
Could you look into this one?

shc at localhost:~ $ display
display: unable to load font

Any idea on curing this error message?
