Perhaps I am thinking of a different dialog box to you - I'm talking about
the Gnome "Network" dialog box which has a pull-down selector box across the
top for the configuration name, 3 buttons to the right of it - Save, Delete
and Apply. Below that are 4 tabs (ISTR) for configuring the ip address,
subnet-mask and gateway,the hostname and domain name, the DNS servers and
something else which escapes me at the moment. Bottom right is an OK and a
Cancel button....

I must admit I haven't - I posted a note onto here asking if I was
experiencing me being a dick or whether it was a known issue, but no
response, so I put it down to me being a dick...
