yeah, I could never figure that one out myself..... this is back when I
was using 5.X.  one of my first ventures away from suse.  I joined the
list to get help because I was experiencing the same problem.  They told
me to burn at the slowest speed.  Whether or not that had anything to do
with it, it may have been a coincidence, bit it DID work that time for
me.  I was also told to steer clear of rw cd's, but I still use them.
Figured it was worth a shot trying a slow burn.
