Dual Head doesn't work

Just found my way to the Xorg bugzilla.

Searching for:  "ati dual head" returns 83 unresolved bugs.

some folks appear to be getting farther than me.

But unless somebody reports successfully configuring ati cards for dual head
on hardy,
I'm just going to comment out the dual head configuration and give up.
