Can one get straight to username entry at login in 9.10?

only after disabling the user list. otherwise, I immediately get a
userlist to pick my username from.

I'm fairly sure that this is what the OP was talking about... if you
disable the userlist, then in order to get the box where you enter your
username, you must first click a 'login' button. It's a little annoying
since it was never necessary before, but its not that big of an
inconvenience...to me anyway.
