running qemu arm ubuntu image with nographic optrion

Hi,

i dont have /etc/event.d/ttyS0
& /etc/inittab files to Configuring upstart to run qemu arm ubuntu image
in nographic option.

then how i can proceed?

Is this command is proper?

sudo qemu-system-arm -M versatilepb -kernel vmlinuz-2.6.28-11-versatile
-hda ubuntu-arm.img -m 256 -append "root=/dev/sda console=ttyAMA0"
-nographic
