Hello,

Thanks for the suggestions... While reading the zenity man page it 
referenced dialog which is a much more capable widget maker than either 
zenity, or whiptail. The man page for dialog is kind of hard to 
understand in places due to poor translation skills on the part of some 
English as a second language person who wrote it, but it looks like a 
very promising set of widgets to add to my scripting tool box.
