Wondering is anyone out in ubu land has Seamonkey 2.0 rc1 installed with plugins working and showing in about:plugins on Karmic Beta 64 bit. NoOp has been working with me on this issue and we are totally unsuccessful in getting plugins to work, so far and without much promise.  I have 64 bit libnpjp2.so, libflashplayer.so and the auto installed skype, rhythm, and four totem lib plugins currently in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins which is linked to ~/.mozilla/plugins folder. I even purged nspluginwrapper because an article on Ubuntu forums stated the it might interfere with 64 bit plugins on this SM pre-release version. Also copied plugins in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins to ~/seamonkey/seamonkey/plugins folder all to no avail. The only plugin showing in about:plugins is the default libnullplugin.so no matter what has been tried. Both, NoOp and I have googled extensively without finding a solution.
I know I can revert to an earlier working version of SM but I am intent on resolving this issued if it's at all possible. I would very much like feedback from anyone using 64 bit Karmic Beta and SM2.0rc1 with working plugins. Any comments welcomed.
