Question about Wireless dongle.

Has anyone used the i-wireless usb prepaid mobile wireless modem? 
Service in this area is by Sprint 3g wireless.
I'm looking for a means to stay in email touch while travelling as we 
are often in places with 3g coverage but no wifi. Does this device work 
under linux? Using Maverick with all upgrades current.
