I don't feel any loyality to _any_ distribution. I am not a religious man and
certainly won't make any penguin my god :)
I've been changing distribution when I felt this or that one better suited my
needs, or simply my computer. I've used Mandrake on one particular Toshiba
because SuSE could not handle it at the time, I've installed Ubuntu because
it worked better on my Thinkpad Edge and it is on my Netbook because it's the
easiest way to install Trinity (and because my scanner does not work with the
latest Debian). I've been a SuSE user for years but dropped it because they
went KDE 4, and their implementation fo Gnome is not as good as that of
Ubuntu. I've been using Mepis too but I probably won't be using teh next
release because it's KDE 4.
So feel all free to change when you want. What's more, supposing such changes
really bother the distro-makers, that's the user's only real way to say "I
don't like your choice".
