Perhaps his reply was more tongue-in-cheek, comparing one's allegiance
to a desktop as something on the order of Mom, Democracy, the
Girl-Next-Door and Apple Pie? It does seem like that at times.
I know I have my distinct preferences and don't want to have my
"boundaries" crossed... like the KDE3 VS KDE4 uprising. But, as long as
KDE4 supports the "traditional" application-launcher toolbar menu button
thing, I'm happy with KDE4 now. Step on that and I'm liable to start
using words like "Nazi's", "Bullies", "Commies", etc.
So, maybe that was Jordon's point. :) Ric
