how to try unity using 11.04

I think the default unity should have been 2D instead of 3D so as many as 
possible can make it work and try it out?

The 3D version could be a supplement?

It is important to unity, that it always will run on most pc's I find as 
it is chosen as default on 11.04?

Anyway I am using 10.10 and I am using netbook:

Kubuntu-netbook-default-settings 10.10.6

Unity 0.2.46-0ubuntu5

I usually install using ubuntu alternate cd.
