Enabling Support For Canon LiDE 3000F on Ubuntu 12.04

As I understand it, if XSane recognizes the scanner, it should work with
all scanning applications, because they all use the libsaned...
I admit I did not try it with XSane. I will.
Don't I have to add a line to the saned rules file I have mentioned? It
says the file is automatically generated by a saned description file (.desc)
